Newt Gingrich, former House Speaker, has said that President Obama's plan to fix the economy has "already failed". Why is it that we can give George Bush 8 years to destroy the economy and President Obama only 100 days to fix it?

Kind of has a striking resemblance to the Charlie Brown character, Pig Pen . . . which is ironic since Pig Pen's quote was "I have affixed to me the dirt and dust of countless ages." Reference to his political party?
